Operated by the Department of Transport and Main Roads, QLDTraffic furnishes comprehensive information on road conditions across Queensland, encompassing incidents such as crashes and hazards, road closures, restrictions, ongoing roadworks, and special events. The service also grants access to web cameras that provide near real-time traffic visuals.
Users have the facility to input preferred routes into the application – whether it's the daily commute to work or the school run – and QLDTraffic will notify them of any traffic disruptions along these paths. Furthermore, personalized push notifications are dispatched in case of incidents on chosen routes, ensuring users are informed before embarking on their journey.
